Two Taoist hermits of Mai Mountain and two Taoist hermits of Wunsu Mountain had a good time on the hill overlooking the Owongang River in Gwanchon-myeon two thousand years ago. They were indulged by the beautiful scenery appearing as a folding fan. They went up and strolled over the rocks and enjoyed swimming in the clean water. So, this place was named Saseondae.
